Lift Modernisations and Installation for the Associated Press
The COVID-19 pandemic has completely reshaped news reporting across London and other major cities, profoundly impacting the sense of urgency for reporters to deliver new stories and features on time and how efficiently on the move they have to be to meet these tight deadlines.
In particular, the Associated Press London offices, located in the Interchange building in Camden Lock, has been fully embracing this change. This five-storey building has three passenger lifts to assist with the movement of reporters, writers, staff and visitors.
During the UK’s first lockdown period, the building’s management team decided to modernise the three lifts which were showing signs of unreliability and have a new disabled platform lift installed, and approached Titan Elevators for costs.
